| April Selenskikh | VA | | ***Urgent Prayer Request*** Attention Christian leaders: Beginning October 15, a young brain damaged woman Terri Schiavo will be starved to death within two weeks on the request of her husband by removing her feeding tube despite the strong opposition of her family, friends, and medical advice to the contrary. Terri's husband will clearly benefit from her legalized murder- as he is living with another woman, had child with her, and will benefit financially from Terri's death. Terri's family are even prohibited from as much as visiting her- even to say goodbye. They are legally helpless to prevent this intentional murder, to move her to another location, or to assume care of her themselves. (From www.terrisfight.org) How far this nation has fallen that a doctor, sworn to uphold life, would sanction intentional starvation of a human being with whom there is the possibility- however slight- of recovery? Satan wants to end this life- let us therefore pray together for God to deliver Terri from this inhumane situation. If we as Christians do nothing- who will be next? This is a slippery slope by which all ?inconvient? lives will be deemed as unsustainable- and we will then enter a Hitler-esque society that kills the weak, frail, elderly, and unwanted. Brothers and sisters in Christ- this court decision is a step in that direction. We believe God alone is the giver of life and that this action is clearly murder. The legal system has failed this helpless woman- but our God is strong and He loves her! Knowing God's amazing love, mercy, and strength we are calling for immediate 24 hour prayer for Terri for the next two weeks that God would deliver Terri from this cruel and ungodly fate. PRAYER POINTS: That God will deliver Terri from this forced starvation That He will reveal Himself to her and comfort her. Salvation for Terri and her family For God to be glorified in this situation For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper. Ps 91:3 In my distress I called upon the Lord.
