We believe in the Holy Trinity, God the Father,
Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only
begotten Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, walked the
Earth as a man, healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, was
nailed to a cross and shed His blood for the sins of all mankind.
We believe that this same Jesus rose from the dead after three
days, ascended into Heaven alive and well, and now sits at the
right hand of God the Father, forever making intercession for
us.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only
way to Heaven and, because of His sacrifice of Himself, has made
the gift of salvation and the inheritence of Heaven available
to all people who will willingly accept Him as their Lord and
Saviour.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the complete and
definitive Word of God, to be taking fully and completely as it
is written, needing no additions or further chronicles. We believe
that the Holy Spirit inspired the human authors of Holy Scripture
so that the Bible is without error in the original manuscripts.
We receive the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as
our final, absolute authority, the only infallible rule of faith
and practice.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is present and active
in our world today and is still healing, comforting, empowering,
and delivering the people for whom Jesus gave himself for. We
believe that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Church at Pentecost
in power, baptizing believers into the Body of Christ and releasing
the gifts of the Spirit to them. We believe that the Holy Spirit
indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is our abiding
Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the filling or empowering
of the Holy Spirit, often a conscious experience, for ministry
today. We believe in the present ministry of the Spirit and in
the exercise of all of the biblical gifts of the Spirit. We practice
the laying on of hands for the empowering of the Spirit, for healing,
for deliverance, and for recognition and empowering of those whom
God has ordained to lead and serve the Church.
We believe in baptism by water and that this act
should be an integral part of ones dedication to our Lord as a
way of following Christ's example of a Christian life.
We believe in fullfilling the great commission as
presented by our Lord in the gospels of the Holy Bible to preach
the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation.
